Also located on the banks of the San Marcos River is the historic Zedler Mill, currently under renovation by the city of Luling. It is the take out point for Texas’ first inland paddling trail and is fast becoming one of Texas’ “best kept secrets” for canoers and kayakers. Shuttle & Equipment Rental can be arranged through Luling Parks & Recreation Department (512) 227-1724.

Along with the world famous Watermelon Thump, Luling is host to many annual events throughout the year. Check out the calendar for a complete list of events.
